Wow, it has certainly been a long time since I have posted on here!  I definitely feel out of practice and I hate how infrequent my blog posts have been.  This wedding season has been wonderful in so many ways, but also a little strange.  The majority of my weddings have and are taking place in the fall. I mean, who wouldn't want to get married during Autumn in New England, it's beautiful here!  Aside from being busy with upcoming weddings, life has been full of all kinds of other busyness lately.

One of the most exciting--and a little bit scary-- things that has occupied a lot of my time, energy and attention the last couple of months is that I am in the process of working with a branding company.  This is something I have been thinking about since the beginning of L. brook events and this past spring, felt like the right time to do this.  I was referred to Nikki back in April and after talking with a bunch of other people I knew she was the right person for me to work with.  We are at the beginning stages of the design process, but I am hoping that in a few short months I will be able to show you my new logo and most importantly an actualwebsite that this blog is attached to.  This exciting news is something I have alluded to in a few posts.  I have been debating about when to share it on here because part of me thought I wanted to wait until it was closer to being finished, while the other part of me thought I would suspend posting entirely until my new website was completely finished and live.  But, what I have come to realize is that this branding business is a lot of work.  Especially if you are like me and have a million ideas in your head and don't always know how to articulate them.   Either way, I appreciate you all following along with me on this journey and I can't thank you enough for continuing to visit my blog even with the sporadic posting.  This season has been one of incredibly growth personally and professionally and I can't wait to see what the rest of the fall season brings, and what the future in general holds for me.  Oh, and that beautiful image above is from Antiquaria, a brand after my own heart.  Happy Autumn!
