One wedding trend that I have noticed is bridesmaids in mismatched dresses, I am seeing this everywhere! I love this idea for so many reasons. Doing this allows your bridesmaids to pick a dress that they feel comfortable in and that shows off their personal style. This also takes the boring cookie-cutter component out of your wedding party. Don't get me wrong, in my own wedding all of my bridesmaids wore the same dress and they all looked beautiful. I just love this look when it is done right. There are so many ways that you can do this to achieve a unified look: have your bridesmaids pick a dress in the same color scheme, even the same color just a different style dress or have your bridesmaids pick a dress made out of the same material. At the beginning of August, I am going to be in a wedding of a dear friend and all the bridesmaids will be wearing different dresses. Initially, the bride told us to pick a pale pink or pale purple dress to wear that was silk chiffon. As we began shopping, the color palette expanded to pastels. I am really excited to see how we all look together since we all have our own unique style.
