orange rosemary spritz

Last Friday I posted a winter beverage recipe and this Friday I am doing it again!  I am not sure if this will become a weekly feature or not, but how fitting is it for me to include a signature drink recipe that features flavors I mentioned earlier in the week.

Orange Rosemary Spritz

Ingredients
1 oz Aranciata Pellegrino
1 oz Lillet

1 Tablespoon of Aperol

1 oz Prosecco
2 Sprigs of rosemary
1 Tablespoon of Organic cane sugar
Ice
1 Orange sliced

To Mix:

Strip leaves from one rosemary sprig and finely chop.  Toss leaves with sugar in a small flat dish until mixed well.  Rub a bit of orange on the rim of a small cocktail glass and dip in the rosemary sugar mixture until the rim is dotted with sugar and rosemary. Add Pellegrino, Lillet, Aperol and ice to the glass. Top with Prosecco.  Garnish with remaining sprig of rosemary and a slice of orange.  Now sip and enjoy!  I hope you all have a great weekend, cheers!
