planning for Thanksgiving

I feel like I say this every week, but this week has flown by.  I have spent this week running around working on a bunch of projects, Thanksgiving being one of them.  As I mentioned here, we are hosting dinner at our house this year.  This year will be particularly special because I just recently found out that my parents will be moving across the country in one short month, which means this may be the last Thanksgiving for awhile that a lot of us will be celebrating together.  Although I am excited for their new adventures it will definitely be a big change to not have them twenty minutes away.  That being said I want to make this year extra special!  Although it is not ideal I will be setting two tables this year, because realistically what average person has a table that can fit sixteen people at it?  Besides, two tables means more space to play with!  If you follow me on Pinterest you can see I have been pinning away some Thanksgiving inspiration.  I have played with a lot of different ideas, but I have decided on a design that is natural and organic marked by colors that highlight the season.  Here are some of the images that are inspiring my design.
