It has been far too long since I have written a blog post and also since it was sunny and dry outside, which is why I decided I would share some bright images from a Spring Pop-up Shop I was a part of way back in May. Ironically, the day we had our Pop-Up Shop at Scratch Baking Co. it was as cold and rainy as it is today. Despite the weather we had a great turnout and it was a lot of fun to meet people from the neighborhood, help them pick out gifts for their moms, wives, girlfriends and friends, and of course collaborate with Watershed Floral and Lulu Ceramics. You may remember me posting about this back in the spring, and in case you missed it here is a little recap.
Sarah from Watershed Floral made market-inspired floral bouquets, Louise from Lulu Ceramics showcased her fun and bright pottery and I helped style our “shop,” complete with hand-crafted cards to go along with the gifts people found and wildflower seed packs as a gift for everyone who came.
Some of you may know this about me, especially my family, but I love making cards for people. This was the first time I made so many cards all at once and not with a specific person in mind. When I was making them I had fun thinking about my own mom, my friends that are moms and all the wonderful ladies I know, which made them all feel a little different and personal.
