weekend snippets

It was a very busy but fun weekend!  I traveled to Peaks Island Saturday to provide day-of coordination services to a great bride and groom.  I have known this couple for a few years and was honored to help them celebrate such a special moment in their lives.  Here are some snippets from the weekend.  I am excited to share more about this wedding, but for now here is a sneak peak!
 {Waiting for the ferry with the boutonnieres and corsages along with my handy Vera bag filled to the brim with supplies}

{It was a beautiful day, absolute perfect weather!  The aisle was lined with shepherd's hooks that held up tin pails filled with bright florals arranged by the bride}

{A large oak tree welcomed guests and was adorned with photographs of the bride and groom's family and friends}

{Lattice that lined the entrance to the reception site held escort cards}

{The bride handmade most of the paper goods, the tables were named after islands in Casco Bay}
 {High top tables lined the porch during cocktail hour with french pails on each table}

{Rocking chairs give guests a chance to take in the beautiful scenery}

{A large stone fireplace inside the club was the perfect spot to place framed photos of the bride and groom's grandparents}
 {I love this you complete ME sign}
 {The big moment when the couple said I do!}

 {The couple's first dance}

{The wrap- around porch was my favorite aspect of this venue, guests enjoyed views of Casco Bay and the twinkling city lights of Portland across the bay}
